What is Brainspotting Therapy?

Brainspotting is a brain- and body-based therapy that helps you process and shift patterns stored deeper in your nervous system.

Instead of only talking through what’s happening, Brainspotting helps us get underneath it—working with the part of you that still overthinks, second-guesses, or gets pulled into the same patterns.

Sessions are focused, collaborative, and very natural.

We might start by talking through what’s coming up for you. From there, we’ll notice where you feel that experience in your body and begin to track it together.

During Brainspotting, we use your visual field (where you’re looking) to help access where that experience is held in your brain.

You might notice:

  • emotions shifting

  • thoughts or memories coming up

  • or a sense of things processing without needing to explain everything

There’s no pressure to perform, say the “right” thing, or figure anything out.

We’re following your system and allowing it to process at its own pace.

Most people are surprised by how natural it feels + how quickly shifts can be felt.

brainspotting

vs.

talk therapy

Traditional talk therapy focuses on insight and understanding.

Brainspotting goes deeper.

It works with the parts of your experience that:

  • feel automatic

  • hard to change

  • or don’t fully shift through talking alone

This work doesn’t just impact your relationships—
it changes how you feel in your life as a whole.

WHAT CHANGES WITH BRAINSPOTTING:

Imagine a life where…

  • Your mind feels quieter… and you’re not constantly trying to figure everything out

  • You can like someone and stay connected to yourself at the same time

  • You move through relationships with a sense of calm, clarity, and trust in yourself

  • Things feel more mutual, more natural… less confusing, less effortful

  • You’re no longer caught in the same patterns—you feel free to experience something new

  • Your life, as a whole, feels more open… more expansive… like there’s actually room to feel good in it

Because when your system feels safe and regulated—everything else starts to shift too.

FAQs

  • Brainspotting is a brain- and body-based approach that helps us access and process patterns at a deeper level than traditional talk therapy.
Instead of only talking through what’s happening, we’re working with what your system is holding—so you’re not just understanding your patterns, you’re actually shifting how they feel and show up in your life.

  • Sessions are typically slower and more focused. We’ll follow what’s coming up in real time—emotionally and physically—while using specific eye positions to help access deeper processing. You might notice sensations in your body, emotions coming up, or a sense of release. There’s no pressure to “perform” or get it right—we go at your pace.

  • Not at all. Many clients come in knowing they feel stuck, activated, or caught in patterns—but aren’t fully sure why. We’ll work together to gently identify what’s coming up and follow that. You don’t need to have it all figured out.

  • A lot of what shows up in relationships—overthinking, second-guessing yourself, feeling pulled toward certain dynamics—lives deeper than conscious thought. Brainspotting helps process what’s underneath those patterns, so you can start to feel more grounded, clear, and less reactive in your relationships.

  • Some clients begin to notice shifts fairly quickly, while others benefit from a slower, more ongoing process. We’ll check in as we go and adjust based on what feels most supportive for you—there’s no set timeline you have to fit into.

  • That’s completely normal. A lot of the women I work with feel some level of uncertainty at first—especially if they’ve already done a lot of work and aren’t sure what will actually help things shift. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable, and you won’t be pushed into anything you’re not ready for. You get to stay connected to yourself throughout the process.

Change is possible.

You don’t have to keep repeating the same patterns.

It’s possible to feel more grounded, more secure, and more like yourself—
in your relationships and in your life.

BRAINSPOTTING HELPS CREATE THAT SHIFT AT THE LEVEL WHERE REAL CHANGE HAPPENS
